Q: Where are you located?
A: Pin-up Perfection is currently setting up two new studio locations to book at, one in Maple Ridge and the other in Port Alberni. The exact address will be emailed to you upon receiving your session deposit.

Q: How do I book an appointment? Do I need to put down a deposit?
A: Please email [email protected] to book! There is a $50 deposit due when booking to secure your appointment. Deposits are applied towards the remaining balance due on the day of your shoot. If we haven't received your deposit within two weeks prior to your shoot, your appointment will be made available to the next client in line. Deposits can be paid via e-transfer to [email protected].

Q: Your packages comes with high-resolution images - what does that mean?
A: You will be receiving two sets of your final images via email; one for internet use at 72 dpi with logo and one high resolution for printing. We are not responsible for keeping copies of shoots after images have been emailed to you.
When you download your files, please make sure to back them up to multiple hard drives as well as keep a third copy somewhere else (on a dvd, cd, memory stick etc). After that you are able to take them into a photo lab of your choice to get prints made, post them online etc. We offer printing services as well, but you are under no obligation to purchase prints through us. We recommend ABC in Vancouver or Photo Expert in Delta.
Q: How many pictures do you take?
A: Anywhere from 50-1000 frames! It depends on the session and the client.

A: We will only use your pictures online or in print if you sign a model release allowing us to use the images for promotional use.

A: We are currently accepting cash, credit card, PayPal and e-transfer.
Q: What if i have to cancel my appointment?
A: Life happens! It's no problem if for any reason you need to re-schedule with us, but your deposit is non-refundable. Please be courteous and give us a minimum of 24 hours notice for rescheduling.
Q: How long is a session?
A: Your session can run from 2 to 8 hours depending on the package. Pin-up parties are usually 6+ hours.
Q: How long does it take to get the pictures back?
A: Turn around is currently about 2-4 weeks. We can accommodate for special deadline requests and offer a rush charge of 20$ ea. if photos are needed quicker.
Q: What should I do to prepare for our shoot?
A: Shave your legs, underarms, bikini line, moisturize your skin and paint your nails (red is preferred)! Get lots of sleep, water, and eat for energy, but avoid foods that will make you feel bloated. Check your hosiery for runs and rips. On the day of your shoot avoid wearing tight clothing that will leave lines on your skin. If you are having hair removal, have it done a few days before your appointment to avoid swelling and redness. Have a good stretch and avoid overly strenuous workouts the day of as some poses can be physically demanding!
Hair: Please do not use a flat iron prior to your appointment as it makes curling difficult. Please come with clean, dry hair.
Makeup: Please come with a clean face, or foundation and mascara at most. If you have sensitive skin or a preferred brand of foundation please bring it with you.
Q: Can my partner come and watch?
A: Unfortunately they may not stay because it puts a different element in to the shoot that can hinder bringing out the bombshell in you! They are more than welcome to drop you off, check out our studio and meet us to put them at ease.
Q: What should I bring to wear?
A: Dresses, garter belts, bras, underwear, corsets, bustiers, waist cinchers, stockings, bathing suits, costumes, cardigans, pencil skirts, high heeled shoes...anything vintage (1920 - 1970's) or vintage inspired, jewellery, accessories etc.
Q: I don’t have much to wear...do you have something I can wear?
A: Yes! We have a large collection of wardrobe for clients to wear from XS-3X! We recommend that every client come with at least their own basics: lingerie, undergarments, stockings and shoes in case our collection does not meet your size, style or colour preference. If you would like a very specific outfit, or just an excuse to go shopping, check out our local favorite shops - New World Designs, Pinball Alley Vintage, Lace Embrace Atelier, and Burcu's Angels. Mirror Mirror Bijoux supplies us with beautiful jewellery to use during your shoot!
Q: Is there anything else that I should bring to my shoot other than clothes, shoes, accessories etc?
A: Feel free to bring any props you would like to use, or ask us if we have something that you would like to shoot with that you have seen on the site. We love it when clients bring in items to pose with!

A: We do! E-mail us at [email protected] to purchase one and we will mail it to you or can send it as a file to print out from your computer directly.
